Plenary

The keynote sessions of the congress – five one-hour lectures delivered by some of the most eminent researchers in the field.

Symposia

The meeting’s scientific ‘backbone’ – 30 sessions, each 75 minutes long and delivered by three speakers. Competition is fierce for these selected sessions which are acknowledged as being of the highest scientific quality.

Spotlight Sessions

These sessions are arranged and delivered by specific groups such as GNCs and affiliated societies; typical duration one hour.

Meet the Experts

Highly interactive sessions which offer you the opportunity to discuss your own cases with acknowledged international specialists. Limited seats available.

Featured Communications

Competition is intense for these 15-minute slots, which are allocated to the highest ranked of the submitted abstracts. A total of 38 slots are available.

Data Blitz

These short six-minute slots, selected from the submitted abstracts, provide an opportunity for young and mid-career researchers to present their work to the international community. A total of 140 slots are available.

Campfire Sessions

A limited number of places are available for these highly interactive one-hour sessions which are designed to present multiple perspectives and enable participants to share their experiences in an informal ‘open forum’ setting. Limited seats available.

Outstanding Poster Presentation Session

During the first days of the congress there will be a voting for posters available via the congress app. The 6 presenters with the most votes will have the opportunity to present their work in a 10 min talk during the “Outstanding Poster Presentation Session”. We encourage all participants to support their peers by voting.
